About Studio Naz
Studio Naz / Nazrina Rodjan
b. 1990 | Rotterdam
Studio Naz is an art studio started by Nazrina Rodjan in 2017. Through the mediums of illustration, animation and design, she spotlights queer and BIPOC stories and experiences. In art school, she grew her personal understanding of the inherent complexities of identities. Her artwork focused on Surinamese perspectives and expanded to the wider history of Dutch colonization. She seeks to disrupt dominant narratives by actively engaging in social political issues while focusing on inclusive representation in her art.
